چکیده

BACKGROUND: Uterine exteriorization during cesarean section is linked to an increased incidence of visceral pain. AIM: This study explored the ability intrathecal nalbuphine alleviate this accompanied pain be used as effective safer alternative fentanyl, there almost no compared between these agents induced by uterine exteriorization. METHODS: double-blinded randomized controlled research was done on 135 cases subjected with uterus. Patients were equally into F, N, and C groups which received 25 μg 800 nalbuphine, 0.5 ml saline, respectively, added 0.5% hyperbaric bupivacaine. The occurrence shoulder their VAS, need for rescue IV adverse events, hemodynamics, Apgar scores evaluated. RESULTS: 22.2%, 24.4%, 66.7% Groups C, respectively. who needed fentanyl 6.7%, 11.1%, 60% statistical difference regarding parameters highly significant (p < 0.0001) group both F N but insignificant groups. Baricity of Bupivacaine on Maternal Hemodynamics after Spinal Anesthesia for Cesarean Section: A Randomized Controlled Trial

Background: After spinal anesthesia, patients undergoing cesarean section are more likely to develop hemodynamic changes. The baricity of local anesthetic has an important role on spinal blockade effects. The aim of this study was to compare the isobar and hyperbaric bupivacaine 0.5% plus fentanyl on maternal hemodynamics after spinal anesthesia for C/S.Methods: In this double-blind study, 84 h...
